"FOKUSI" wants to reflect together with local churches on the place of children and young people within the church. Involving youth is not an easy thing for many churches. The question is how the church can be a warm and inspiring place for the younger generations. The church needs young people to remain a healthy church.
The Bible shows that children and youth are an important part of the church. At the same time, many churches find it difficult to give young people the attention and responsibility they deserve. The talents of young people are not always seen. How can young people feel that they are needed to build up God's Kingdom?
Many young people wonder how to relate their faith to their daily lives. This is even more difficult if they live in a secular or Muslim culture. How can the church be an inspiring place for youth to learn to follow Jesus Christ?
